Expressions of interest: GP Liaison (Waikato)

We are looking for a general practitioner to join our Waikato practice liaison team for a few hours each week.  The liaison team supports practices across the network to improve health outcomes for their enrolled population.  They do this by connecting with practice owners, GP members, nurses and other Pinnacle practice staff. 

As an important team member, you will be specifically tasked with providing professional leadership and hands on support to GPs in the Waikato region. To excel in this role, you will enjoy forming positive and productive relationships. You will also have strong communication skills with an approachable demeanour and adaptive work style.

As our successful applicant, you will have:

  • a commitment to quality
  • vocational registration in general practice with the NZ Medical Council, current practising certificate and medical indemnity insurance
  • at minimum four years post NZ registration experience with a minimum of two tenths active general practice.

This role on offer is eight hours per week with some flexibility over working hours.
