Foundation Standard review – join the pilot group

Following extensive engagement, the Foundation Standard review is entering a new phase. The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from practices to join a pilot group. The pilot, running from March to June 2027, is the next stage of the review and will test the draft standard, guidance and supporting resources in practice before being finalised.

Selected practices will receive support throughout the programme and there will be no assessment costs.

EOI closes 5pm, Thursday 26 November 2026.
